Loose Center Pad Garage Door Repair

A client in Callaway needed garage door repair. The center pad had come loose, and the company that had done the original work wouldn't come out from Pensacola to do the repair on the center pad, which was never attached correctly.

What is a Garage Door Center Pad?

The center pad is a piece of 2X6 attached, vertically, in the center of the header. It is very important that it be fastened very securely, as it has to support the springs, and all the torque created when they are wound.
