A Broken Spring Repair In the Wild Heron Community in PCB
My first service call for this Saturday the 15th was a pair of broken springs at the beautiful Wild Heron community in PCB. This is a pretty common call this time of year with the weather bouncing back and forth between warm and cold. If a spring is nearing the end of its lifecycle, the fluctuation in temperatures can encourage the spring metal to snap. The cold weather can't cause the breakage alone, the spring is usually already weakened due to its normal lifespan and usage. This was the home of a customer who had previously purchased a beautiful wood tone 16x8 insulated 2 inch thick steel backed garage door from us. This is one of my favorite doors with this rich wood tone finish. This gives you the beautiful look of a wooden garage door without some of the disadvantages that real wood overlay can experience, especially in this salty and humid climate.
