We replaced a 22 year old Raynor 8x7 garage door and opener in Panama City Beach.
We installed a new 8x7 Mid America garage door.
In Panama City Beach, we got a call for a customer wanting a new door and opener installation. When we got to the home and saw the door, it was something we hadn't seen before. This Raynor door wasn't made of metal, either stainless steel or aluminum; it was made of very dense plastic that looked almost like melamine. It was a cool and interesting find. A plastic door is something you don't find in Florida very often. The door and opener were at least 22 years old. Age and Florida weather had taken a toll on the door and opener, and it was definitely time for an upgrade. We replaced the old door with an 8 x 7 Mid-America solid white Regal with a 160 mph wind load, and we upgraded the old opener with a LiftMaster 81600 with a 7-foot chain rail. The customer was thrilled with the new upgrades; they ran much smoother and were quieter than their predecessors.
